In The Warlords, characters are divided into 2 Factions. For each Faction, there are two classes.

Soldiers
They were unsophisticated civilians who abide by the philosophy of Confucianism. In this chaotic era, regardless of the rampant corruption of local authorities, they are still loyal to their divine emperor. Depending on the swords in hand, they strive to save the dynasty from the brink of collapse, and restore peace and honor to the middle kingdom.
Bandits
The constant natural disasters, wars and the government's exceeding more abundant exploitation have driven uncountable lowly commoners to their extremes. The cruelty of life has turned those once rustic countrymen into the cynical Asian Robin Hoods. Looking upon the elite classes and their hypocritical ideals, they understand that only their power can protect them and their families in this truceless world. And they are going to utilize blade and martial arts to uphold justice in their own way. |

Footmen, brave and courageous, are versatile melee combatants and remarkable experts of a wide array of weapons. Manufactured by endless battles and refined through glorious crusades, they are acclaimed for their high defense and superb speed. |
