A Level 1-20 Walkthrough for Footman
After you enter Warlord, the first thing you have to do is to create a character. There is no difference in gender, class and faction of your character. Then you have to make a big decision, you have to choose the weapon you like. Ranged weapon or melee weapon decide the future development of your character, think carefully before you start. After that, enter your desired name and select your avatar to begin your journey in Warlord. Recruit Guide in Hometown will tell you the feature of your character as well as some basic knowledge on attack and skills. You learn from her that footman boasts high attack and defense and are excel at various kinds of weapons. After you have learnt some basic skills, put the skill icon to the shortcut column and right click the mouse to use the skill. Find Wise Man in Lotus Port (638,1098) once you first arrive in Lotus Port. He will teach you the secret of Qing Gong. Qing Gong will cost SP. Press Ctrl + left mouse to use it. Marksman has relatively low defense than other class, you can use Qing Gong wisely to evade your enemy. Find Master Yang in Lotus Port (0629,1129). He will introduce function of Pathways to you. This function can lead you to the NPC listed in the interface. After introduction, Master Yang will ask you to find some appointed NPC. Use this useful function to find them easily. Talk with them and you will obtain abundant Exp, average equipment and the usage of Fury skill. Now, you must be quite familiar with Lotus Port after you have met those NPC. You can start to explore the outside world. There is a Fury bar which is charging continuously. The fury bar will be fully charged every 5 minutes. Then an icon will appear notifying you to use Fury skills. Fury skill is far more powerful than normal skills. Besides, it will not cost you any arrow. Your guards will not appear during you are using Fury skill. Guard is another feature of Warlord. You will have a default guard when your character is created. Guards will help you fight monsters. Though their ability is not as good as you, their talents will bring you many benefits. When your Fury skill is activated, attack the rebels with a shining circle to capture him as your guard. When you reach level 20, you can call 2 guards to fight. As a footman, your default weapon is sword and shield. But, later, you will find you have 8 kinds of weapon to choose from. A double hand weapon like Spear, Pike, Voulge and Mace will give you more attack. A single hand weapon like sword, saber and axe has relatively lower attack but you can equip a shield to increase your defense. Each weapon has its respective skill tree. Open the skill interface and you will see the skill tree. Spend some money to learn the skill when you have reached the required level. You can get some initiation from the NPC in Lotus Port. By completing these initiations, you can obtain some average equipment as well as some silvers. Now, head to the Marsh, there are more things waiting for you to explore. | ||||||
